Meet Alethea - our new sales Star at Mr. Flyer!

What does a day in the life of Alethea look like?
My day starts with a strong cup of tea and a stronger determination not to hit snooze on my alarm. At work, I juggle admin and production tasks from emailing clients and suppliers to picking orders. I handle a high volume of customer service inquiries via phone or email. When I answer the phone, I direct people to the right person or answer any enquiries they may have. I also run like a headless chicken to make sure all my jobs for the day are done, which I have somehow mastered.
After work hours, all my attention is directed to my 5-year-old Springer Spaniel, Tess, who has a severe case of separation anxiety, and she does her best to make me feel bad for leaving her. After her successful guilt trip and a well-deserved walk for her busy day of guarding the house, I'll make tea and turn my TV on. I'm a shamefully iPad kid, so I need to watch something while I eat.
What do you enjoy about your job?
A factor I enjoy about my job is the satisfaction of ticking tasks off and contributing to the smooth process that our company provides.
What's a piece of business advice you'd pass on?
A piece of advice from a business perspective is very cliché: don't work harder, work smarter. Another bonus tip is to use a pink highlighter to make things more straightforward and visually appealing.

What makes Mr Flyer different?
Mr Flyer is different in many ways, but he's the best at being helpful, clear and friendly. Our interest is to assist and lead people in the right direction. Often, people contact us for leaflet distribution, but what they need is Direct mail, which, fortunately, we offer both.
What have you learnt by working at Flow Group?
Benefits of working for Flow Group include the support of the team. This culture values people as much as productivity and opportunities for growth on both a business and personal level.
What's the proudest moment in your career?
My proudest achievement is a continuous journey rather than a single event. I started working as a business admin apprentice just before I turned 18, and now I am learning the ropes of being a salesperson at 21. It's a reflection of ongoing personal growth, and it's gratifying to recognise how far I've come.
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I am a binge watcher, so I've likely watched any movie or series you can name, or it is on my list to watch. I'm also very family-oriented, so I make sure to spend time with them during my week and weekend. Hobbies I fit into my personal life include reading, puzzles and anything nerdy. On weekends when my social battery is charged, I like to go out for a few drinks (which never ends in just a few) and dancing to songs I swore I didn't like.
What's your favourite meal?
My favourite meal, which I could probably eat every day, would be a chicken tikka curry (Asian style) from my local takeaway.
